Gregoire Besson Blog

Welcome to the Gregoire Besson blog. Here we plan to post 'chatty' type comments about things that have caught our attention, have tickled us or, heaven forbid, got our dander up! Why not join in the discussion? It doesn't HAVE to be farming related, but try not to wander too far off topic.

Getting ready for Cereals 2012

The Gregoire Besson UK team will be at Cereals stand number L1312 on 13th-14th June at Botthby Graffoe in Lincolnshire.

The Helidisc with Eurocult tines on the left and Discordon tines on the right

We'll be exhibiting the new Gregoire Besson Helidisc Cultivator with hydraulically adjustable, independently controlled front and back tines for a more even finish. Available in a choice of two models, featuring three rows of spring loaded Eurocult tines for light to medium land, or Discordon tines, Helios (Michel) or LD straight tines for medium to heavy land, the Helidisc makes use of a disc-tine cultivation system that has been used on the Discordon for over 20 years.

The new R6 mounted plough

Also on our stand will be the new R6 mounted plough with in-cab hydraulic controls to control depth, inclination, transport lock and furrow width. The offset curved leg on the R6 makes it easier to pull, less wearing on metal parts and more fuel efficient. Suitable for 180 – 280hp tractors and available in 4 or 5 furrows, the R6 has been designed with user comfort, robustness and ploughing quality in mind.

The Rabe Corvus

Our range of Rabe products will also be on display, so why not pop onto our stand for a chat, we'd love to see you there!
